Films. Love ’em. Love to hate ’em. Love to watch them, discuss, analyze and understand ’em. And I am finally going to get an outlet for all of my thoughts, likes and dislikes, musings and cringes  around any kind of movie. Not just new movies. I will also give you old movies (by old I mean anything not currently in the cinema).

Realism are for tired minds who can only view things in black and white. Read and watch all the colours with me.

To push my own scriptwriting efforts forwards, I am analyzing romantic comedies (currently, I might mix it up) and I thought it would help my process if I were to write down my analysis. And then why not just publish it so that maybe someone out there reads it, if only so that some desperate media student who has left the essay blank until the last possible minute, has somewhere to steal ideas from.

Hopefully someone will read, but more importantly I hope that blogging will help me see more clearly what needs to be fixed in my own manuscript. And to discover more elements about the wondrous, ever-expanding universe that is storytelling.

PS: I might also tell you about the books I read. Cause I am reading a book right now and would like to tell you, the faceless and unfathomable internet, why exactly I find this book so great and rewarding. It is a fantasy book. And it is my stedfast and often misunderstood belief that fantasy books can tell us more about ourselves, the societies we live in and life itself than die hard social realism (I have the news to depress me thank you very much) Our own world mirrored through an alternate universe can be a truly eyeopening experience. If you let it.

I love to write. I am sure you can already tell.
